Life is Good
Hi Everyone. Just a quick update to let you all know that the preliminary results are good. The MIBG and CT do not show any neuroblastoma. We are so thrilled and headed to Mexico to celebrate. We will have bone marrow and urine results at the end of the week. The doctors are amazed by Noah's progress. He has gained 5 lbs since January and really gaining his strength back.
Noah had a fun trip to NYC thanks to Rich at the Ronald McDonald and Jaye Bea. The RMH had a trip to Wolden Park Friday night and Noah had a blast ice skating. Thanks Rich. Then Sat brought a trip to Time Square(aka Toys r us) and the Natural History Museum. Sunday, we went to Chinatown and Noah enjoyed playing with all of the kids at the RMH in the afternoon. Bone Marrows were done on Monday and we headed home Monday night.
Thanks to Tracy and Amy for all of the help with Sarah while we were gone. We do not know what we would do without you two. We will head to Sloan at the end of June and hope that Sarah will join us. At that visit, Noah will meet with the late effects clinic and have quarterly scans.
It was a great trip with wonderful results. It was nice to be in New York without treatment. Noah could truly enjoy himself. We saw many of Noah's Neuroblastoma friends in New York. Please keep this kids in your thoughts and prayers. Many of them are facing relapse situations. It is devastating to see these kids have to go through it all again. Please help us to find a cure by participating in the Golf Tournament on April 29th. See our last post for details.
