Summer 2008

2008_kidsbeach Nelson Summer 2008 was one giant road trip – visiting friends and family in Tucson, Flagstaff, SF bay area, and SD.  It was a great run and we thank everyone for their hospitality along the way.  We also had to work in a short July trip to NYC for Noah’s routine scans – SCANS ARE CLEAN!  At this point, the doctors feel comfortable moving him to an every 6-month schedule on the abbreviated test/scan regime.  This will further reduce his radiation intake and give his veins a much needed break.

School starts up a week from yesterday and the kids are ready – Noah is off to 2nd grade and Sarah is starting Kindergarten.  Both kids will be going to school all day…a new phenomenon at our household.  Fall sports are right around the corner - Sarah will be doing dance and soccer and Noah will continue with Fall Baseball.
No news is good news.  Thanks for everyone's continued support!

Cheers~

Noah, I don't know if you remember me, but I still pray for you. I was in your pre-K class. I am so happy you are doing well. My mom and I check your website to see how you are doing. Have a great year in 2nd grade.
Your friend,
Jack

Congrats!! It's a wonderful time for you. I remember feeling excited about the extended time, but also fearful without the extra reassurance. May God's peace continue to be your strength. God Bless.
